The weather was overcast today, which has been the usual lately. There were carp near the dam where I patrolled, but they spotted me quickly and I only got a single shot off today—and missed.

I’m curious to learn if it was the weather, or if the carp are simply not cruising the shoreline like they have been over the last few weeks.

I headed home after stalking the canals farther downstream.

I had plans to bowfish tomorrow (Friday), but the weather will be wet and drizzly everywhere I’d want to visit.

At least the flowers were in full bloom today. I could hear the bees buzzing.
