I spent quite a few hours today stalking carp on the river, but came up snake eyes.

Today I spent a couple hours on the river stalking carp. One of them ventured too close to me.

Today there was plenty of algae, but very few carp.

Today I connected on 25% of my shots, but I only took eight shots in all.

After driving an hour to a local river and realizing it was unproductive, I headed 90 minutes away to another body of water in hopes of promise.

Today the weather was overcast and I ended up only taking one shot, which I missed.

Some days you see a ton of carp, and some days they’re elusive. Today the carp cooperated, but to a much lesser extent.

The air temperature was cooler today, and the wind wasn’t friendly, but the bowfishing was excellent.

I had to buy a new Muzzy Tournament reel since my original reel’s handle sheered off during my last bowfishing outing.

Once in a while when I shoot a carp there’s a cloud of blood in the water immediately following the arrow’s penetration.
